About me

I am Nuria Calvo, Spanish, mother myself, graduate engineer in chemistry, living in Graz since 2016, where my story with baby gift baskets began.

One day my office colleagues asked me to organize a gift for the birth of a colleague's baby. As a suggestion, they gave me diaper cakes, which I didn't know about since I'm from Spain. I thought that the wonderful gift that a mother should receive at the birth of her baby must be something very special, amazing, magical. Something she doesn't expect, that would convey feelings and be remembered, a special gift for such a special moment.

This is how an increasingly popular hobby became the ZAY BABY SHOP, where every detail counts and is important, with Spanish flair and of course with products from Spanish suppliers.
